Why I will be staying out of the office, tomorrow!

I will be staying home tomorrow, I am not going to work tomorrow, I've already submitted the leave request for my working hours tomorrow, and it has been approved!

You may think that it must be because tomorrow is Friday, the 13th, and I must be superstitious.

No, that's not why!

Yes, I am atheist, I have lost my faith in God, or any religion for that matter, but, no, I am not superstitious, either... frankly, for all I know, I could die during a car-accident tomorrow, but that's not going to keep me home tomorrow!  Certainly, not during late evening, when I'm planning to go to a singles-dance!

No, the real reason why ....

...I have submitted for time off, tomorrow, is because Republican Senator Toomey, PA, has decided to have his campaign town hall in our office buidling, in a conference room only steps away from my cubicle!

Yes, that Senator Toomey...

Unfortunatly I am prone to unintentionally becoming part of a temporary circus, as I have experienced repeatedly since 1998, but if there is one temporary circus that I do not want any part in, it is a Rethuglican Circus!  That is one show, I will happily skip, that I will proudly refrain from, that I am frank enough to say "No, thanks" to.

So, I am not going to the office tomorrow.  I will be on leave, tomorrow!

Instead, I will relax in my appartment and read a book, at least until late evening, when I plan to get ready to go to that singles-dance to meet some charming single ladies!

Now, if Democratic Senate Candidate Szestak had won that election... Or, if newly minted Democratic Senator Spector had chosen not to retire before that election...and either of them had decided to have their town hall steps away from my cubicle.

In those cases, I would have gone to work tomorrow...I would have happily taken time away from my cubicle to head over to the large conference room, and listen in to their speeches and most likely clapped my support.

But, no, it's a Republican Senator Toomey that represents our part of Pennsylvania... so I will stay home, tomorrow!

I am too partisan for that.
