Sure, this woman gets alot of attention, but let's not read and believe everything about her in the media.
Let's just keep it simple: Michelle Bachmann is a type of person that has incidentially always turned me off! The kind of woman that is so inundated with fears and insecurities that her reaction becomes so overblown as to run for a president! This is a woman that is motivated out of a deep-seated faith, that is more harmful than it ever could be useful. It is the type of faith that sways you to hate out of fear. Oh, and that husband of hers, Marcus - if that is not a closet homosexual whose irrational homophobia could well be an indicator of closet homosexuality, I don't know what is!
In all seriousness, these two combined make a very sad constellation, sad because they indicate some of the wayward backwardness that is still prevalent in this country of ours. Sad, because there are more people like them in this country, than cosmopolitans like myself are willing to admit. Sad, because they reflect an America that some of us, including myself, are quite ashamed of!
You see, we cosmopolitans, we like to see our country, America, as the shining beacon of progressiveness, after all, this was the first truly democratic country in this World. We would like this country to continue it's progressive tradition and essence.
What we don't like to see, are bible-maniacs such as Michelle and Marcus Bachmann.
These two have more in common with radical Islamists of the Jihaad than they will ever be able to understand!
We don't like to see them, because we know the world does not need them, because we understand that they can do more harm to the world before they could ever do any good!
As a man of the world, I hope, their drive to this country's presidency will end in a screeching halt... for I will be really ashamed of being an American if the likes of Michelle Bachmann gets elected to the primary executive position of this country's government.
I will end this entry with an amusing but true experience:
When I first saw Michelle Bachmann on T.V., I thought, O.k. she's attractive! But as soon as Michelle Bachmann opened her mouth to speak her politics, she immediately turned into this horrid and ugly thing, that left me wondering, what it was that made me think that she was attractive before! She exhibitted a complete difference between external and internal beauty, it was really bizarre!
I am willing to bet that Michelle had the same effect on other heterosexual progressive men such as myself!
